Librarian extraordinaire, thepierglass, gave me a copy of I Capture The Castle many months ago, and it did not disappoint. Do you like Pride and Prejidice? Gilmore Girls? Delightful books? You should totally read this one.

(this was also started many months ago. I am excavating my ‘unfinished’ folder)

I just unfollowed Official Doctor Who to avoid season 8 spoilers until I catch up, and the next thing on my screen was this. He knows.

Attachments is a really cute book about two really stalkerish people. So here is a fanart of Lincoln and Beth.

ALSO I’m 100% convinced that Macaé it’s the perfect theme song for this book. Unfortunately it’s portuguese (srsly more people should speak portuguese, you guys have no idea of what you are missing out).

call me a conspiracy theorist here, but I think one of those is not a cat

Shhh. It believes so it is.

In a different universe, these are the normal cats, and ones on all fours are not.

Technology then and now

It’s so easy to forget that this didn’t happen because years passed by. It happened because men and women all over the world incrementally improved on amazing ideas..slowly iterating and experimenting and developing new techniques. Incentivized by money and the desire to do well and be appreciated and make a difference…thousands of people worked millions of hours to make this amazing thing happen.
